1. Overview
This Refund Policy describes how refunds work for paid subscriptions and related digital services offered by VocaScript (“we”, “us”). It applies alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Paddle (or another provider we name at checkout) acts as merchant of record for card and wallet payments. Their buyer refund policy and buyer terms apply to the payment relationship. Where the law or Paddle’s rules give you stronger rights than this page, those prevail.
2. Digital services
VocaScript provides access to online software (AI transcription and related features). There are no physical goods. Access is delivered digitally through our website after a successful purchase.
3. Subscription cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal or account flows we provide (or via instructions in your purchase confirmation). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically delete your account unless stated at cancellation.
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except where required by law or as described in section 4.
4. Refund requests (VocaScript policy)
This section matches our Terms of Service.
- 14-day money-back (first purchase): If you are unsatisfied with your paid plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid purchase. This applies once per account and does not reset on renewal.
- After 14 days: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for (see section 3), except where the law requires otherwise.
- Billing errors and access issues: Contact us at support@vocascript.com or via our Contact page with your account email, charge date, and a short description. We aim to reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds are typically returned to the original payment method within about 5–10 business days, depending on banks and the processor.
- Exceptions: No refunds for accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
You can also use the “View receipt” or “Manage subscription” link from your purchase email, or Paddle’s buyer support, to request cancellation or a refund under Paddle’s policies and applicable law.
5. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country or region (including, where applicable, rights regarding digital content and withdrawal periods). If local law gives you a stronger remedy, that law prevails.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us or Paddle (via your receipt or paddle.net) before disputing a charge with your bank. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of access, consistent with our Terms of Service and Paddle’s buyer terms.
7. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use of paid services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where prohibited by law.
