Have your own Google AI API key? Use it on any plan for unlimited transcriptions at your own cost. Pro users still get enhanced URL processing, priority queue, and extended storage — even with their own key.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use VocaScript without signing up?
Yes! Guest users can transcribe files without an account, subject to guest rate limits. Sign in with Google, GitHub, Discord, Facebook, or TikTok to unlock higher limits.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
You can wait for the next billing cycle to reset, upgrade to a higher plan, or use your own Google AI API key to keep transcribing at no cost to us.
What does "Enhanced URL processing" mean?
Some websites have restrictions that can cause transcription requests to fail. Pro users benefit from enhanced URL processing infrastructure that ensures reliable transcription from virtually any publicly accessible media URL.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase — no questions asked. After that, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period. See our Terms of Service for full details.
What export formats are supported?
All plans include every export format: plain text (TXT), SubRip subtitles (SRT), WebVTT subtitles (VTT), and structured JSON.
How is my data stored and managed?
Guest data is kept locally in your browser (IndexedDB). For users with an account, media files under 200MB are synced to our secure cloud storage for access across all your devices. To manage storage capacity, we automatically delete the oldest media files once limits are hit, so we recommend downloading important files for long-term safe-keeping.
Are there any processing time limits?
Yes. To ensure system stability and fair access for all users, individual transcription jobs have a 15-minute processing time limit. If your media is very long or the system is under heavy load, we recommend splitting your content into smaller segments for the most reliable results.
